Uraga Woreda
This Uraga coffee has made a great addition to our dry process lineup, and one of the more versatile lots we have at the moment. Our light roasts were crowned by fresh fruits and aromatic spices with berry-like and swet aftertaset.
The coffee cherries are first put in water tanks before processing in order to separate any "floaters" - generally unripe coffee - from the rest. They then move the coffee to raised drying beds where it is sorted for defects by hand for the 2-3 weeks it takes to dry. We found this particular lot of Uraga to have dense fruit and bittersweetness.
